Q. Are your tradespeople vetted?

We monitor all tradespeople who register for Click4Trades and require confirmation of public liability insurance to be listed. Our tradespeople are given the opportunity to enhance their profiles with details of their insurance cover, trade body memberships and previous work. We encourage you to take this into consideration when selecting your preferred tradespeople and always get more than one quotation for each job.

Q. Do your tradespeople enter their own feedback on the website?

Absolutely not, all reviews and ratings found on this website have been submitted by members of the public, have been verifed (we check 75% of all feedback by contacting the householder) and then added by a member of our team. Our tradespeople have no access to add their own reviews on Click4Trades.

Q. Do you guarantee the work carried out by your registered tradespeople?

All members are individual businesses in their own right and as such have their own complaints procedure, we cannot offer guarantees but we will work with agencies such as Trading Standards for any members who do fall short of our code of conduct or who fail to carry out compliant work. We do remove members that are found to be carrying out unsatisfactory work or business practices outside of our code of conduct.

Q. What is the Click4Trades code of conduct?

The code of conduct that members have agreed to is there to promote good business practices and requires that estimates, contracts & complaints procedures are in place along with clear pricing on invoices & working to current UK legislation.
